Thanks everyone but i guess this is going to be it until WM08 is out 'cause i need to see how it looks with stances, walking, tauting, etc
i guess i'll need to make some little fixes (mainly the arms) and then i'll have to make all body shapes (womans bodies included) remodel all clothes modesl (so they fit this new model), remodel hair, pants, shirts... a lot of work is waiting.

i re-strarted the work with body models yesterday... im modding the models from the trial version and testing it on the demo (until i get the trial)... they are pretty much the same so i shouldnt have too much problems when upgrading the models to wm08.
The easy part is that i only need to mod 6 (or 7?) body types and not 17 like in WEncore, the difficult part is that all models has a ton of parts that i have to remodel...
i'll post screenshots when i have the first full model complete.

I got the new game and i tested my mod... and it works perfectly… but its only the body model… also I need to change the weapons (to a more realistic/hardcore version) and correct some terxture mapping problems… since this version its going to be compatible with the default textures of WM08… but i didn’t forget IWP, I think im gonna make another version with an “exclusive “ texture mapping... maybe. And as a prove of what I said... here your are, an ingame screenshot of the skinny body model. Actually this was supossed to be the "normal" body (ita also the model you see on previous screenshot on this topic) but when i loaded on the game it looked really skinny and that why i decided to use this one as a skinny model.

somethig not cool at all happend yesterday... i was fixing problems with the arms texture map and to do this i deleted the whole body except the arms the i exported them into Unwrap3D and i fixed the whole mapping thing... Then i imported the fixed arms back into 3dmax... after some minutes of putting the new arms i saved the file. but yuo may think... So what?.... well i accidentallyy overwrote the file and forgot to undelete the whole body.... so im back to zero again... i only have 2 arms and thats it... but the good news is that i had the body (just the body) on a 3ds file The bad news is that everything was already fixed for the new body model... pants, weapons, hair styles, shorts, etc... so i have to redo all those things. thats about 2 months of work lost... next time i post something here i hope is for the release of this mod.

Well... after the disaster happend some weeks ago i re-modeled everything again and now im on the weapons replacing stage... so probably i will release at least a beta version by early days of june.

After the debacle of lossing all my work ('casue my HDD got corrupted) luckly i recovered most of my files, i lost some textures of the weapons so im re-making them, also i tested the model with new weapons and it seems to work correctly.
But i think i'll make a few "final touches" on some parts of the 1st model (like the shoulders) before continuing with the boring task of making the other bodie models.
I now this mod is taking too much but im trying my best... hope you like it when its done.

The "master" model for all other body types (the skinny model) is done... at least until i find a new bug, once i finished the weapons stuff i fully tested the model and found several bugs on the head (ex. cap and bandana where out of place), also there were some broken polygons on hair models i fixed.
This time also barbed wire 2x4... or plank (like Cactus Jack's favorite weapon) wont be possible because i had the same problem that i had with WEncore... the texture is applyed using code (Blitz3D) so i cant change the uv mapping of the model and and to make it worst MDickie also used this type of texture mapping on the Pipe, so i had problems with that weapon too and had to change it.
It seems that everything will be fine until i have to make the female body, this means making a whole new model, i guess i'll use the same head model i use on females since NBMv2 'cause the current one is not even close to womens face structure... (unless the women is a heavy steroids and testoterone user).

and bout that the shin part looks kinda weird from the side muscle is loking kinda a shrp and not fitting to the foot :/ so if you fix that and the shoulder it would be brilliant

i cant remeber if i fixed that Mr.X... i'll check it and if i have to fix it. ******************************************************* hey everyone, here some updates. The work with NBMv4 is advancing from time to time, now that my classes began i have less free time. I found even more bugs on the master model, mainly on the lower part of the body (from the hips down) i hav to pretty much re do all the uv mapping 'cause it looked really bad. Here a screenshot of the normal body type, if you look carefuly you will notice what am i talking about. But dont worry all those problems are fixed now and this time i can say to a 100% that the master model is finally done, the normal body is also complete, now im modeling the muscular body type that is bringing me some problems getting that balance between fat and muscular is kind of hard to find.

the model on under the knee the shin part looks still kind of sharp it really looks weird :/
