Ok well my first mod in a long long time and after exams are finished there will be many more. I decided to update my first ever mod, the barbed wire boards. I have changed the barbed wire to a more realistic coil wire and also have used Tek's new table for the base (so huge credit to you Tek'). This is only the table texture one, there will also be a woodchipboard one and one other
This is early work in 3ds max but will convert it soon and will replace the box. As i mentioned above, it is early work so please give me any tips or ideas for he mod and i will happily listen.
Finally, i have decided that with the animation, i want the board to look like a flat board on the floor rather than a broken one as wrestlers using barbedwire boards will sometimes lay it flat on the floor and use it so after the move on to it, i will have it so that it is all in once piece again...Hope that mkes sence
***********UPDATE**************
Ok so i have completely changed the barbedwire making it a lot thinner. In ways the wire does look like a tangled mess at times however on every picture of barbed wire boards that i have looked for, that is basicaly what it is....a mess of wire on wood. I have also spent time cutting down polys but still feelit is relatively heavy so may cut more for the nxtupdate. Anyway here is the improved version with the woodchip board as well. Feedback appreciated
***********UPDATE**************
Ok so i deleted all the wire from update two and started a fresh making it thicker. Of course i curled the wire again differentiating it from the original release. I'm pretty happy with how it has turned out but of course need your approval and any tips for further improvement
Just to let you know, if you can see where it dissapears into the board at places i have deleted the polys on the other side so i have cleaned up the mod in places. However i still think that the mod is relativey heavy mainly due to barbedwire naturally needing quite a few polys. Also just a note if you can see some black wire, don't worry it is grey now, i just had not textured it...Anyway, feedback as always appreciated
